This Beaujolais Pierres Dorées (Golden Stones) was vinified in a natural way and in the purest Beaujolais tradition, with no sulfites and from indigenous yeasts. It displays a lovely deep purple hue. The complex nose presents red and black berry aromas (raspberry, blackcurrant) with hints of smoke and humus. The entry on the palate is direct and lively. The palate is well rounded and dominated by red berry aromas (cherry and redcurrant), toasted spices and fresh mint. The finish is mineral with red cherry aromas. This is a Beaujolais Pierres Dorées with plenty of aromas and a lovely natural character!
